Hi! My name is Kimberly Unkel and I am the 10th grade counselor at Acadiana High School. I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology in 2008 and my Master's of Education in School Counseling in 2014 from McNeese State University. 

As a school counselor, my goal is to elevate all students to the next level of their life- whether that is a career, university, or being a first-generation high school graduate. I believe that all students have potential, and I'd love to help you achieve your goals in education, career, and life. 

I recently moved to the Lafayette area with my husband and our pomapoo, Rosie. In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking, and spoiling my niece. Travel and experiencing other cultures is a huge passion of mine, despite the fact that I am terrified of flying!
