Implementation Plans are done so that everyone on the team knows what they are responsible for in order to carry out the students Behavior Plan.
Tasks for implementation may include materials to create, changes to the physical environment or changes to staff interactions with the student etc.
The areas of responsibility are taken directly from the student's Behavior plan cover the following environmental changes
Antecedent interventions
Consequence interventions/Correction Procedures
Data Collection Procedures
Each task identifies the person responsible, in implementation score based on team discussion, an implementation score based on observation and a team recommendation about the task to be implemented.
At each team meeting team members will discuss level of current implementation according to discussion and observation.
Sometimes it is necessary to compare the effects of different environmental events on the presence or the absence of a behavior. These environmental events could be any of the following.
People in the classroom
Various locations on campus
Being in a different classroom for deployment.
Being seated around different peers.
Whole group vs small group instruction.
In order to assist in analyzing differences in the environment at are affecting student behavior members of the Behavior Intervention team can collect data and show a visual representation of varying environmental events.
