Feeling overwhelmed or concerned about how your kids are using technology and computers? This course will give you the knowledge and tools to help your kids stay safe and develop a healthy approach to computing. Topics include: Understanding how children use computers, risks and challenges, protecting privacy, tips and best practices, and includes full setup of free parental monitoring and management system for your family.
Participants should be familiar with using Microsoft Windows, organizing and working with files, accessing the Internet, and using e-mail. If you have your own laptop computer, you are encouraged to bring it to class.
