double check to see if the script has been prepped & transferred to the iPad Tele-prompt App.
open Tele-prompt, select the script, set speed, count down, mirror text, guide & font size
proof read the script for errors
let the talent read the script for speed and pacing before recording

reset the size, speed & orientation of the teleprompter if needed

What is expected?
Interesting Filmmaking - General public not bored by your movie. Density of audio and video keep audience challenged/surprised mentally.
Preproduction - Student follows the storyboard, script and synopsis that were originally submitted.
Shooting - Student considers and addresses details listed above.
Editing - Students rough-cut, trim and then cut to music. Students experiment with creative editing or follow a conventional style.
Audio - Audio compliments the visual aspects of the movie. Student attempts to find proper balance between spoken words and music.
Titles - Titles are concise, appropriate length, readable, and fall within title safe and broadcast safe zones.
Export - Exported to teacher drop box (AirDrop) as self-contained (large / 720p format) QuickTime movie by the announced deadline.
Grade Notes - Meeting the project requirements in the above manner will result in a C as your final grade. Better than average effort and execution will result in a B. An A is reserved for exceptional, demonstrated development, application, innovation, effort and an in-depth understanding of process. Failure to complete any of the required components with an average or better effort will result in a D or an F as your project grade.
N4BS - Any video that attains a N4BS will automatically result in an F as your project grade. Revision will result in a D as you project grade. No exceptions!

Please choose a school or community based project that must be completed by the indicated dates on your calendar. (Please note there will be 4 to 5 required per marking period). You must get approval by your instructor before you commence. Please use the Celtx script writing program that can be found on your work stations dock. If you need to finish writing your script you can download a free version for Mac or PC. All projects must be made for broadcast and be time sensitive. Expectations and the Video Project Rubric listed in the TOC.

Livestream, formerly known as Mogulus, is a live streaming video platform that allows users to view and broadcast video content using a camera and a computer through the internet. Each student enrolled in the Media Tech 4 program will be required to schedule, advertise and broadcast 3 Livestream events. You must schedule an approved broadcast event by using the shared project sign up spreadsheet. Remember that you must have a an internet connection in order to broadcast.

All media students will be creating an Educational Portfolio YouTube / Google Account. This will be a place to host and showcase all of your media projects. Our educational partners agree that have a specific location that is easily accessible for admission officers, employers, and even clients is a great idea. This portfolio goal will be to show your educational growth in the field of video production. After the completion of every video project from Media 1 to Media 4, you will be required to upload, describe what you role was, what you edited on, what equipment you used & reflect on the positive and negative experiences of the project.
Quarterly Assessment Requirements
All projects must be uploaded to your Educational Portfolio YouTube Channel via Google Account.
Do not allow comments or subscribe to any other channels.
Create and update a introduction video as needed.
Describe your role in the project.
What you software you used.
What you equipment you used.
Reflect on the positive and negative experiences of the project.
