MEDIA & TECHNIQUES: Painting, Photography using large format Polaroid camera. (One of the first Artists invited by Polaroid to use them!) Pioneer Video Artist.
CONTEXTUAL INFORMATION: His Weimaraner, Man Ray and subsequent others provide the subject matter for his portraits. He has done video segments for Saturday Night Live & Sesame Street. He has written children’s book and books for adults as well. He is also a very gifted painter!
SUBJECT MATTER/THEMES/CONCEPTS DEALT WITH: realistic, but humorous & ironic photos of dogs...paintings which incorporate whimsy, abstraction & realism.
