Congratulations to Glastonbury High School Latin teacher, Mr. Joey Meyer! Now entering his 21st year of teaching in our district, Mr. Meyer is a dynamic educator who teaches with heart, purpose, and charisma.
Mr. Meyer is known for his lively, student-centered Latin classes. Beyond the classroom, his commitment to building a positive and connected community is evident in all he does. Mr. Meyer has inspired countless students to deepen their understanding of our complex world and the people in it.
Mr. Meyer was also selected as a CT State Teacher of the Year FINALIST!
State Rep. Steve Weir surprised GHS students by flying a very special person to work—Principal Nancy Bean!
Students got an up close look at the helicopter, and a hands-on lesson in aviation.
