Classroom Rules and Expectations
1. When the bell rings, all students will be in their own seats quietly preparing for the day’s activity.
2. Because it is impossible to talk and listen at the same time, I expect no one to be talking while I am speaking.
3. Your input is encouraged and welcomed, but please, wait until you are recognized.
4. When a student speaks, he/she has the right to be heard. No one else should be speaking while a student who has been recognized is doing so.
5. No Food or drink in class. Gum will be allowed only until it becomes a problem. (Blowing bubble, Wrappers, gum not being disposed of properly)
6. Restroom Policy, Do your duty between Classes.
7. No one will be excused from any class unless it is deemed as an emergency. (Teachers Discretion)
Cheating Policy
Cheating is a misrepresentation of yourself. It benefits no one. Students who cheat will receive a 0% for the task at hand and will be required to redo the task where it will be graded the same as late work. (No grade Higher than a 93%). Any student knowingly assisting in the cheating process will be treated as a cheater.
Grading Policy
1. Students will not be given grades. Students will EARN their grades
2. A = 94-100%
B = 86 - 93%
C = 78 - 85%
D = 70 - 77%
F = 69% and below
3. Your final grade will be determined by the following:
· Test, Quizzes, Home Work, Classroom Contributions, Writing
