This year our members took another step forward in improving our status among fellow Nebraska State FBLA chapters. Last year we had one person recognized for excellence in business competition. This year a Freeman FBLA member was called to the stage three times when Rachel Page our chapter President earned Honorable Mention in Business Interview and again for Insurance and Risk assessment. Our Sports and Entertainment Management team of Holden Scott, Everett Bloom and Tyler Buhr was called to the stage for earning Honorable Mention.
Our Chapter was also recognized for its growth earning the 7-up Ribbon for increasing membership by at least seven members. The 2015-16 Freeman Chapter was also recognized by the State FBLA in their philanthropic efforts raising money for the March of Dimes and the Nebraska FBLA Foundation. This year we had two freshmen earn their first level of the Business Achievement Award, Tessa Hestermann and Haley Pella both earned their Future Level pins by completing requirements in Service, Education, and Progress activities. They are current working toward the American level where once completed they will be recognized at the National Leadership Conference.
