This initiative is responsible for updating the Open Standards on a regular basis (approx. every 5-6 years). We seek to involve a broad range of members from the Open Standards community, as collectively we bring a range of experience and wisdom in using the Open Standards.
From 2018-2019, our efforts have been focused on producing Version 4.0.
Contact lead: Caroline Stem (FOS)
Our work in 2018-2019 has focused on the core Open Standards document (item 1). However, there is a broad suite of associated products (items 2-6) that are critical to the use of the Open Standards. Our next big effort will be support and/or encourage progress on these associated products.
Core document
Associated frameworks (e.g., taxonomies, CAML)
Protocols (e.g., threat rating categories and definitions; viability)
Software (e.g., Miradi, MS, CAP, underlying data schemas and APIs)
Guidance (e.g., HWB guidance, guides from individual orgs)
Foreign language versions (of any of above)
Near-final draft design that will give you an idea of what the final version of the Open Standards will look like. Produced by Clean Canvas (UK)
