Mental Health Matters

Adolescence is a critical period of mental, emotional and social development, which can be stressful for teenagers and young adults as they begin to determine who they are and explore plans for their future. Behavioral health problems are common and can make things like school and socializing more difficult. Developing healthy social and emotional habits are important for mental well-being. These include - adopting healthy sleep patterns; exercising regularly; developing coping, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; and learning to manage emotions.
