Graduation Requirements

All public high school students in the state of Washington are required to meet statewide graduation requirements in order to earn a diploma.

To earn a high school diploma, a student must:

• Earn 24 high school credits

• Complete WA State History (usually taken in middle school)

• Complete a High School & Beyond Plan

• Complete a Graduation Pathway
