Welcome to Columbia Junior High's Counseling Center homepage. The counseling program at CJH aims to address each student’s academic, personal, social, emotional and career needs, with a compassionate and student centered approach.
Schedule CORRECTIONS
School starts on Wednesday, September 4. In preparation for the start of school, students are encouraged to review their schedule in Skyward prior to the first day of school. If there is a mistake on your schedule and a correction is needed, please complete the online Schedule Correction Form (click here). The deadline to submit a request is Friday, September 6 @ 2:30pm.

Schedule corrections are made on a very limited basis and are subject to availability and approval.
Corrections will be addressed in the order they are received through the request form.
Please do not email your schedule correction. That will slow down the process.
Changes cannot be made to accommodate lunch and/or teacher preferences.
Only requests for the following reasons will be considered:
Scheduling error - examples: missing a class period, placed in the wrong course level, missing a graduation or college readiness requirement.
Special program requirements
Students will be notified via email of the status of their request. If you have questions regarding your schedule please contact your School Counselor for assistance.
Mrs. Lindgren and Mrs. Holmes are available to answer any questions you may have about your schedule. To request an appointment to discuss your schedule, please fill out the School Counselor Request Form.

world Mental Health Day - October 10th
Every year on October 10th, the World Health Organization recognizes this day as a time to raise awareness about mental health issues around the world. It's a day to talk about the importance of taking care of your mental health, and how to get help if you are struggling. world Language Testing
Fife School District offers World Language Competency Credits to students that can read, write, speak and understand languages other than English. Students in grades 8-12 who meet these requirements may take a proficiency test in that language and earn up to a maximum of 4 world language credits toward graduation and college entrance requirements. Students are assessed in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Eligible students are encouraged to contact their school counselor for upcoming testing dates.
