Fallsburg Jr.-Sr. High School DTSDE Review, 2017–18

The District has completed its Diagnostic Tool for School and District Effectiveness (DTSDE) review of the Jr.-Sr. High School (attached).  School leaders have reviewed the findings and begun to take steps on the recommendations. This report will be used--among other data--to inform the development of the JSHS school comprehensive education plan (SCEP) for 2018–19.

Conducted in March 2018, this review focused on the school’s curriculum development and support (Tenet 3), teacher practices and decision (Tenet 4), and student social and emotional developmental health (Tenet 5).  The findings on student social emotional developmental health will be used in conjunction with the findings from the District Technical Assistance Review (DTAR) to improve system-wide practices in this area. We are anticipating the final report for the DTAR in mid-May.
