Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Purging function using "down" button on PLC screen in progress
Color sensor
Calibration of sensor to start this week
Heating tape
Insulation will be ordered this week
Gravity roller curve tables
Made sure order for materials for 2nd roller track curve went through
Finished adjusting the first table and had successful testing with base plates and new conveyor
Accomplishments from Previous Week
First roller track curve completed and tested with 15 baseplates
Successfully implemented Arduino into the PLC system to increase filling speed
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Add temperature probe to filling station (Elaine, Desirae)
Complete rewiring/redesign of electronics boxes (Team)
Calibrate color sensor (Ethan)
Finish adding purge functionality to PLC system (Justin)

5/15/2020 Meeting with Eric + Brian:
120 F fahrenheit acceptable glycerin temperature inside gauges?
Most of the gauges would be fine except for the big black one (has NBR bladder?)
Dial it back a little bit 110 -115 F would be our limit
Heating Tape integrated in PLC:
A light switch to turn on and off would be nice (if the system becomes unexpected) if we don't integrate the heating into the PLC
Machining Order:
Eric needs to talk to Mike (machine shop is slightly busy)
Everything should be done by time

5/11/2020 Meeting with Darren, Prof. Tustaniwskyj, and Tom
Spring steel for guide rails instead of aluminum?
Fluid will be hotter when the pump has to pause
Set something as an external part -> write it as 8 bit code

Risks and Areas of Concern
The Reotemp machine shop is busy and may not be able to manufacture parts for all of the gauge stands
If color detection is not reliable, there is significant risk of messy glycerin spills
