Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Base-plates are completed and ready to be tested, waiting on the rest of the gauge holders to be fabricated
Most necessary hardware parts have been ordered and shipped and majority have been assembled
Official testing (presented in the lab reports) are to be done Week 10
test different glycerin fill time with changes in temperature, spout length, and peristaltic speed
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Put guide rails in the first conveyor with rivets
Built second roller tracks
Put the high friction belt on both powered conveyors
Tested out full loop capacity (can fit 49 gauge holders)
Electronic boxes were taken apart, relabeled, rewired, and put together
Terminal blocks were added
Remounted thru beam (high friction belt had the holders offset)
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Members: Desi, Elaine, Ethan
Highest Priority:
Get loop running smoothly
second loop drill holes, add rivets, add PTFE material for guide rails
Adjust thru-beam sensor to make it more reliable
Integrate heating tape
Integrate temperature probe
Calibrate the PLC code pump parameters using glycerin liquid weight
Medium Priority:
Mount the heating tape thermostat control semi-permanently
Mount the read-out part of the temperature probe semi-permanently
Change Arduino power source to integrated PLC
Connect fan to power
Get good data on funnel overflow
Low Priority:
Add panel-mount AC power receptacle for the heating tape to plug in to
Automate Size Detection (Justin & Ethan) *Secondary objective
Confirm paint colors can be calibrated adequately
Test PLC integration
create color-testing PLC code with low-volume amounts for each "color"
Mount the color sensor and re-calibrate in position
Mount the I/O board inside the electronics box

Meeting with ReoTemp 5/29/20 (Eric and Brian)
Updated on full loop being assembled and 1 gauge stand being fully built
Sponsor was excited for us to fully build the system Week 10

Team 15's comments on
Website:
Add photos of ourselves
Annotations are too small and fuzzy
Label figures
unclear phrasing and references to previous Spring Team
Background, objectives, and final design are well written
Report (general comments):
Add images and figures shown in presentation but not in the report
Put annotations on figure sin the same font and size as the rest of the text
Keep tenses consistent
Keep Indentation style consistent
Risks and Areas of Concern
Automation color detection might not work after applying the PLC code (debugging would probably have issues). Depending on if the team has made progress in primary objectives then the team will see if the secondary objective is attainable
