work on alternative diameter detection method for first software patch. Alternative detection method is expected to have no random error. see last slides of powerpoint linked above.

get better (time) synchronized plots by using matlab to direct arduino. Prev, superimposing brightness plots over diameter plots by hand. Ardunio and matlab were not linked for min-max light intensity tests. ie, arduino did its timed brightness program. Matlab measure diameter on screen. Plotting brightness vs time and diameter vs time had some sync error.
throw in light sensor to ensure steady intensity of light hitting eye (to counter nay-sayers)
do a test on older subject to see if hippus (pupil diameter twitching at constant light) exists. Hippus stronger in young people.
