About ODET

The ODET Department was created in 1999 to provide professional development to all college employees in order to increase organizational effectiveness. ODET is currently a department within the Equity and Inclusion Division.

Our Purpose

ODET provides innovative, responsive and inclusive professional development programs that support the college mission, build community and increase employee and organizational effectiveness. We respect all forms of diversity and actively promote inclusive excellence.

Our Staff

The ODET Department is a team of experienced, skilled professionals who are:

- advocates of equity & inclusion
- dedicated to coaching, motivating and developing college employees
- influential, trusted leaders who create innovative and responsive partnerships
- committed to supporting the college to achieve a high level of organizational effectiveness

Programs and Services

ODET programs and services include professional development in business skills, community building, leadership/ supervision, equity & inclusion, and safety. We are also responsible for campus compliance, wellness and recognition. Custom development solutions are provided to departments across campus. In-class courses are typically held in Clearview Hall 121, in north campus.
