WIFI @ Home

If you are having issues connecting to your WI-FI at home try the following;

• • Check you have the correct password before trying to connect. This might sound simple but it is the most common cause.

  • Make sure the WI-FI setup is not using WEP encryption. Apple does not support this type of encryption.

  • Move closer to the WI-FI access point or router but not too close (no closer than two meters)

After trying those steps and you are still having problems, see IT so they can remove the connection and run a test.

DON'T try and run the Wireless Diagnostics as this requires admin access and provides you with no useful information it is all technical.
