The Bookies Bookstore brought author Leslie Vedder to Denver Academy and she was amazing! She gave us SO much: she dispelled some writing myths, told us how she came to writing, shared what her edits look like, and talked about how her feelings guide her writing. She also encouraged us to keep reading: "If you don't love reading yet, maybe you haven't met the right book."

And, of course, we celebrated her beautiful new book, The Labyrinth of Souls!
