High School Freshman use of Middle School Gyms Guidance: Please see the attached document for guidance on calendar and custodial process.
The Rental Office is excited to announce the return of indoor rentals for the community. The Rental Office has established a tiered plan to align with the State's levels (Safer at Home and Protect our Neighbors). The first tier is set to begin October 1st which will start with smaller type enrichment groups/Scouts renting one classroom and the students will be enrolled at the school, no outside enrollment during this time. The next tier is scheduled to begin November 1st and will involve outside enrollment/community groups renting either a gym or cafeteria. Tier 5 is scheduled to begin December 1st and this will allow outside enrollment/community groups to rent 2-3 areas in the same building. Finishing up on January 1st with Tier 6 to open up rentals to 3+ areas to outside community groups. Cleaning/disinfecting will be managed by the rental and will occur after each rental use. All renters will be responsible for following current local and State health guidelines (ie: # of attendees, masks, social distancing, etc). Above tier dates could change based on the guidance from the District, Governor's Office and/or Local and State Health requirements.

Facility Rental Update: Outdoor rentals (fields, parking lots and tennis courts) resumed on July 1st. Indoor rentals have not received approval to begin quite yet. The Facility Rental Department is working on a tiered plan to start getting select groups/programs back into our buildings. This plan will allow us to adjust those rentals as the County moves between Safer at Home status to either more or less restrictive status. Schools will retain the right of initial rental approval, just like always, the process will not change. We are in the final phases of Cabinet and Legal review and plan to introduce the plan to DOS very soon. Please allow the Facility Rental group to control the flow of information with our renters so we don't have different messages coming from each school. Thank you for your continued support of the program.
Rentals Return to Outdoors Only
The Rental Office is excited to announce rentals will resume on July 1st, 2020 for outdoor space only. (fields, tennis courts, parking lots). As we move through the month of July, the Rental Office will keep everyone informed as we approach resuming indoor rentals and any new policies surrounding the rental protocol. Please feel free to contact the Rental Office (Kellie: 720-433-1113 or Paula: 720-433-1112) with any questions you may have.
Facility Rental Office Gives Schools back over $117,000
Throughout the year our schools open their gyms, fields, classrooms and auditoriums to the community. The fees we charge for community use is not intended to profit the District, but rather to defray the additional cost of public use. Therefore, the dollars generated through the Facility Rental program are intended to be used as a reinvestment in our assets. Each year schools are given 25% of the rental income to use at their discretion. We encourage each school to use these funds to improve those areas used by our renters. The other 75% is intended to be used for targeted capital improvement projects. Some of the past projects include tennis court resurfacing, stadium lighting and turf replacement.
