Frisbee

Grade 5/6: FRISBEE BASICS

Students will learn and execute the basic throws and catches for frisbee by working in squad circles. Throws include finger clutch and two finger guided methods. Students will demonstrate the pancake catch and one handed catch (both thumb under and thumb over). Through modeling the students will demonstrate an understanding of OFFENSE AND DEFENSE movements.

Grade 7 & 8: ULTIMATE FRISBEE

Students will review the basic catches and throws in Frisbee. They will explore jump catches, under the leg, behind the back catching.

8th grade will also explore brushing and tipping. 7th and 8th grade will focus on refining strategic game play and position movements for ultimate Frisbee.
