CONNECTICUT PHYSICAL FITNESS TESTING INCLUDES:
~PACER RUN: cardiorespiratory endurance
~CURL UPS: muscle endurance
~PUSH UPS: muscle strength
~ FLEXIBILITY SIT-N-REACH: muscle flexibility
Students can work outside of school to improve their fitness test scores by performing the above activities on a daily basis to build strength, flexibility and endurance for these test components. Our weekly warm ups also incorporate these elements.
In the springtime we also run the mile outside.
PERFORMANCE ON THE STATE TEST WILL NOT AFFECT CLASS GRADE
