How do I take college courses through Dual Enrollment at a local university?
Students first need to make sure that they have the appropriate GPA and test scores to be admitted into any Dual Enrollment program. Then you will need to follow the procedure outlined here. Remember that you will sign up for 8 primary classes and 3 alternates at CCHS during registration. Your schedule will be modified later once you have been admitted and enrolled in a Dual Enrollment program. Tell your advisor that you are interested in Dual Enrollment and he/she will give you a pass to room 242 during advisement so you can speak with a counselor. Contact Dual Enrollment Coordinator Catherine Melton with any questions (meltonc@clarke.k12.ga.us or 706-357-5200, ext. 17298).
