Credit Recovery is a program offered to CCHS students who need to year credit for a course failed during the regular school day. Students use a computer to complete these courses on the Edgenuity (E20/20) platform or through Georgia Virtual (GAVS) credit recovery.
Credit Recovery Options
Daytime Credit Recovery - These course are taken during the school day. This is an option for students who have room in their schedule and who need to recover more than one class.
Zero or 5th Period - This is a before or after school option. To enroll in the program students will need to meet with their counselor to discuss which courses are offered and complete an enrollment form for Zero/5th period and the 21st Century Program. No student will be admitted without a complete form signed by a parent and a counselor. No transportation is provided for morning sessions. Currently, afternoon transportation is provided. However, afternoon transportation is not guaranteed.
Summer School - More information will be shared with students and families in the spring.
Paid Credit Recovery Options
Foothills - For a fee, students can take courses at Foothills while also staying enrolled at Clarke Central. (www.foothillscharter.org/)
