The following courses require an application and an approval process before you can register. Submit the Application Only Course Interest Form and check out any links for additional information. Remember that you will register for 8 primary classes and 3 alternates during conferences. If you apply and are selected for any of the courses below, then adjustments to your requests will be made at a later date.
Academic Internship: David Ragsdale, 12th grade only, must have 3.7 GPA (unweighted) to apply, click on the link to find all application documents, requirements and informational readings. Applications are due to Mr. Ragsdale (via Google Classroom) on January 29, 2027 @ 3:35 p.m.- no late or incomplete applications will be accepted or reviewed.
ODYSSEY: David Ragsdale, open to all students. Completed applications must be submitted to Mr. Ragsdale no later than February 12, 2027 for rising 10th-12th graders. Rising 9th graders should receive information from their ELA teachers in early 2026 and the application is due March 5, 2027.
Yearbook: Nestor Domingo, open to all students, click on the link to the left for the application. The deadline for rising 10th-12th graders is DATE TBD and the deadline for rising 9th graders is DATE TBD. The link to the application is only viewable by students with a CCSD email. Work Based Learning: Brook Thompson (thompsonb2@clarke.k12.ga.us), open to students 15 years old and older who have taken at least one CTAE course or are currently enrolled in a CTAE course. Students can complete an application online at bit.ly/WBLAPP. The priority deadline for Spring admission is October 31, 2026. Students are encouraged to apply to WBL as soon as they know they are interested. The Work-Based Learning Coordinator will inform applicants of internship opportunities.
