po as a “meaning” weight: po is a weighting schema used in WIH prototype (Word Intelligent Handler). It is based on a list of prefixes and words that are frequently used in Spanish to denote negative forms, or alteration in the strength of the meaning [1][2]. In tables I and II there are certain EBHs used for opposition and ambiguity processing.

Opposite and ambiguous EBH are weighted according to its general interpretation and used to derive po value [2]. Figure 1 shows the equation to get po value for any sentence.
Here n is the number of words in the sentence, p(wi) is the weighting heuristic when it is applied to some HBE named w. It has been shown in [3] that po has the fllowing properties:

it could also be used to automatically distinguish between the text profiles indicated in Table II. [4].
