Vocal Extension Class Mission Statement:

All students will learn and perform a well-balanced and varied selection of chorale literature, and by doing so, each student will also have the opportunity to become more proficient with his or her own voice. This will take place in an inviting classroom atmosphere for all students who have successfully auditioned. The primary focus of the course will be to promote creativity, discipline, and excellence through music, all valuable skills for students to have as they enter into a 21st century global economy. It is my sincere belief that music and the benefits of studying it are a necessary component of the educational process for all students, not just those who society has deemed “naturally talented."
