PMEA Festivals

What are PMEA Festivals?

For students who wish to enhance their high school music experience, there are several competitive "Festival" opportunities that they can take advantage of. Audition dates and materials can be found in each ensembles respective Google Classroom. If students successfully audition, they will join other high school students across our region to perform in an elite ensemble with a professional guest conductor. The farther the student advances, the more exceptional the experience. Currently, Cambria Heights band, choral, and jazz students are participating in festivals at the County, District, Region, State, Eastern, and National Levels. The biggest facilitator of these events is PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Education Association), and I have posted the PMEA calendar and website below for your convince and planning.
