How to pipette

Filling and flushing of the slide will be done with a pipet.

- Select a right pipet for the volume you want to use

- Adjust the volume of the pipet

- Tap the small tube to ensure a homogeneous mixture

- Put a pipet tip on the pipette. (Tap the pipette so that the tip fits snugly)

- Press and hold on top of the pipet until you feel a resistance (for small volumes this is very short)

- Hold the small tube at a 45 degree angle

- Put the pipet tip in the tube and gently let go of the top of the pipet

- Place the pipet tip in one of the holes of your sample.

- Gently push the fluid out until it completely fills the chamber (and exits the channel at the other outlet hole)

- Discard the pipet tip (considered chemical waste)
