In engineering class, we are working on building a checkered board. The first step in making the checkered board was to make the checkers. We had to pick two designs for the checkers, one good and one a "bad guy." I chose to do the Cardinals and the Cubs. We had to create the checkers on one of three design sites. I chose TinkerCad. Then we had to make circles that were at most 40mm wide by 40mm long. Then we had to find a SVG file on google images to insert an image onto our checkers. Then once you find one and import it you have to make it fit the checker and you can either make the emblem stick out or go in, to see the design better. I learned while creating this that you have to import an SVG file in order to have image from the internet in your 3-d design. After we 3-d printed our checkers we casted and molded our checkers. First we created the mold by gluing our checkers to a popcorn bucket and put a solution on top of it. Then after the mold we casted our checkers, and we continued to do that until we had eight of each checker.
