NOTE: The difference with SPA 101 is that SPA 115 covers less grammar and it focuses more on conversation. In addition, SPA 115 is considered an elective and it can not be transferred as part of your language requirement.

Basic pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence structures, and cultural awareness, necessary to develop speaking and listening skills in Spanish.
Overview:
This is the introductory study of the Spanish language with a conversational approach. You will learn basic sentence structure, pronunciation, and vocabulary necessary to develop speaking and comprehension ability in Spanish. This course will provide students the opportunity to practice written, visual, listening, and oral exercises in real contextualized situations. At the end of the semester students in this course will be able to use Spanish to communicate in simple real life situations. NOTE: this class meets only once a week.
