Modalities

To facilitate your learning experience and to offer students more options, most Spanish courses at CGCC are offered in any of the following modalities:

In person (Face-to-Face):

• Sessions meet on-campus on specific days and times

• Usually 4-creidt Spanish classes meet twice for a total of 200 minutes per week

• Class attendance is mandatory

• Enjoy face-to-face time on campus in small class settings with faculty and students

Hybrid:

• Experience the combination of in-person classes and online learning

• You will meet on campus one day a week only for approximately 100 minutes

• Class attendance is mandatory

• Enjoy face-to-face time on campus in small class settings with faculty and students

• Several readings, tutorials and assignments must be completed online within a specific deadline

Traditional Online:

• • Choose when it is convenient for you to learn without scheduled class times

  • Decide when it best suits you to engage in learning activities

  • Submit all coursework and assignments online by due dates

  • It is important to submit weekly assignment to stay active in class

Live Online:

• Sessions meet online at specific days and times

• Virtual class attendance is mandatory (use of live camera may be required)

• Interact live with instructor and classmates in a virtual environment

• Online assignments with due dates can be done outside of the class session

• Continue class experiences like lectures and small group work
