Absence: I will be out this week. Students will be expected to follow the daily agendas posted in Google Classroom. 


Weekly Update: This week, students will do some preliminary work for The Giver including a pre-reading activity, a get-to-know-the-author activity, and vocabulary for chapters 1 and 2.


Monday: In class, students will read for 10 minutes. Then, students will complete a pre-reading activity. Finally, students will complete a Quick Write related to The Giver.

Wednesday: In class, we will read for 10 minutes. Then, students will do a get-to-know-the-author activity.

Friday: In class, we will read for 10 minutes. Then, students will work on vocabulary for chapters 1 and 2 of The Giver.
