You are responsible for having set up your NZQA Learner Login before entering the exam room. Supervisors will not be able to assist you if you have not created an account, forgotten your username or password
You are responsible to check your device with the NZQA Device Checklist to confirm your chosen device will work with the exam
If you are attending a digital exam which has an audio file included as part of the exam, e.g. Spanish, Japanese, German, you need to provide your own headphones that will work with your device. You will also need to bring a BACK-UP set in case the first set fails. Please note, there are no headphones available to borrow from the school.
You are responsible to make sure your language keyboard is working properly before entering the exam. If this fails in the exam, a paper exam will be given to you to complete
There is no power points available in the exam rooms for your device to be charged, please make sure your device is able to last the timeframe of the exam
All L1-3 digital language exams and the Te Reo Rangatira L2 (standard 91777) exam require headphones, as the listening part of these exams uses an audio file. For L1-3 Te Reo Rangatira exams a voiceover option will also be available so you can listen to as well as read the exam instructions, questions and resources. You’ll need headphones with good sound quality that are connected to your device before the exam starts. You can get familiar with the audio function for the listening component in all digital languages by looking at L1 past exams here.
All devices must be:
free of viruses
has notifications, updates and the screensaver disabled
has a physically attached keyboard
fully charged and will last for 3 hours or has access to a portable power source
able to connect to the school's WiFi
compatible with your headphones (if you are doing a listening standard as part of a digital language or Te Reo Rangatira exam)
Please Note: Students are not permitted to take a separate keyboard into the digital examinations.
