Students who are concerned over any matter relating to internal assessment have the right of appeal throughout the year. Any appeal must be initiated within four school days of the date of issue of assessment results. This may start with the student talking to the subject teacher, then the Head of Department. If the student or parent is still not satisfied, further investigation should then be carried out by the Head of Department, a summary of the findings must be passed onto a staff member that is independent of investigation to make the final judgement. The independent staff member will be the Assessment Coordinator, PN, or Deputy Principal.
