WINTER GEAR

We need your help to fill our bins! The PTC is collecting items for families experiencing homelessness that will be distributed by local non-profit Circle of Hope. We have extended our deadline to Friday, December 15th so that we can collect as much gear as possible to help families during the cold months ahead!

Items for babies, children, and adults are needed! The most requested winter items include NEW coats, boots, accessories (hats, mittens, scarves), and hooded sweatshirts/sweatpants. A nice way to get your children involved is to have them buy for children their size. Please note: due to the numerous restrictions for donating used items, we are once again collecting only new items.

Please drop off items using the donation bins outside the school: one is at the front entrance and another is at the entrance by the car line. You can bring items when you come to shop at the Book Fair or attend the Pasta Dinner and Trivia Night!

For questions or more information, please contact Lynne Devaney, Aly Donohue, and Rhonda Silva at outreach@broadmeadowptc.org.

PASTA DINNER

Take a night off from cooking and join other Broadmeadow families for our annual Pasta Dinner on Wednesday, December 13th, from 6:15pm - 7:30pm in the Cafeteria! Enjoy pasta, meatballs, and salad from Comella's, bread from Hazel's Bakery, and ice cream. Gluten-free pasta will also be offered.

Tickets are $10 per person. Only 275 tickets are available and can be purchased here. Please choose either a 6:15pm or 6:30pm arrival time. Don't wait to buy tickets -- this event always sells out!

We need volunteers to help this event run smoothly, including 5th grade servers! This is an event that families look forward to and enjoy year after year, but we can't do it without your help. Please sign up here to volunteer.

Please contact Rob Devaney at pastadinner@broadmeadowptc.org if you have any questions.

YEARBOOK PHOTOS

The Yearbook Committee needs your help! Do you have pictures of the first day of school, Walk to School Day, a field trip, or an activity in the classroom? If so, please submit your pictures using this link. If it is easier, you also can send your photos directly to the Yearbook Committee at yearbook@broadmeadowptc.org. We’d especially love photos that picture kids from multiple families and were taken at Broadmeadow. Thank you for helping to make the yearbook a fun memento for everyone!

GIFT CARD DONATIONS

One way that Broadmeadow has worked to support families is by providing gift cards to families in need. If you are able to donate gift cards to local supermarkets such as Shaw's or Stop & Shop, or stores that provide helpful items like Amazon or Target, it would be greatly appreciated. Last year, these gift cards were made available to families via our administrative staff and guidance team in response to requests for support with food and day-to-day expenses. As the winter months approach, the need within our community tends to grow. Gift cards can be sent in with your student or dropped off at the front office.

Export the Broadmeadow PTC calendar.

To add the calendar to your iCal make sure the "Broadmeadow PTC" calendar is checked on your Google Calendar Sync Settings.
