BOOK CLUB

Our first PTC Book Club meeting is just around the corner! On Tuesday, March 25th from 8:00pm - 9:00pm in the Media Center, we’ll be diving into The Self-Driven Child by William Stixrud and Ned Johnson, and we can’t wait to have a thoughtful and engaging discussion with all of you.

If you haven’t had a chance to grab the book yet, don’t worry—there’s still time to catch up before the meeting!

Can’t make it this time? No problem! Mark "No" in the RSVP form, and we’ll keep you in the loop for future events.

We’re looking forward to seeing you next week! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Alisa Jno-Charles and Guang Rong at DEI@broadmeadowptc.org.

CROSSING GUARD APPRECIATION DAY

Broadmeadow is celebrating Crossing Guard Appreciation Day on Wednesday, March 26th! Our amazing crossing guards—Chuck Heintz, Lillian Brown, and Sue as well as parent volunteer Charly Nanda—help keep our families safe as we navigate our school and neighborhoods. Let's show our appreciation by making a card of thanks (free printable card available here) or saying "thank you" as we pass by.

The PTC is excited to once again fill the Broadmeadow Staff Break Room with grab-and-go snacks on Wednesday, April 2nd! Our teachers and staff always appreciate this thoughtful gesture, and we’d love your help in making it happen.

Sign up here to Treat Our Teachers!

Items can be dropped at school from 7:15am - 7:30am on Wednesday, April 2nd. If you cannot make it on Wednesday, non-perishable items can be dropped in the labeled bin at 78 Broad Meadow Rd on Tuesday, April 1st.

ICE SKATING

Lace up your skates and join the Broadmeadow community for an ice skating party on Saturday, April 5th, from 3pm to 4pm at the Babson Skating Center located at 150 Great Plain Avenue, Wellesley. Students and parents/guardians are welcome to skate.

This event is for the Broadmeadow Community and is sponsored by the PTC. The costs for skating and skate rentals are included in this sponsorship! Babson has approximately 100 pairs of skates, so if you need to rent, please plan to arrive early.

Babson's capacity is approximately 200, so we need to cap participation at that number. Please secure your spot by clicking here. This is NOT a drop-off event.

YEARBOOKS

We are excited to announce that 2024-2025 Broadmeadow Yearbooks are now on sale! The yearbook contains photos of students from all grades and provides great memories of the school year for everyone. The final deadline to order yearbooks will be Friday, April 11th

Online ordering is quick and easy. Please follow the directions below:

Even as we begin accepting orders, we are in the final stages creating this year's yearbook. If you have photos you would like to contribute, please email them to yearbook@broadmeadowptc.org.

Remember, photos should be taken at school or school-sponsored events. We love pictures that feature students from multiple families! We'd particularly appreciate photos from events like the recent Cultural Festival, Bingo Night, or the upcoming Broadmeadow Mitchell Basketball Game. (In your email, please be sure to include students' names, grade levels, and at which event or occasion the photos were taken.)

Questions? Email yearbook@broadmeadowptc.org. If you require scholarship assistance to purchase a yearbook, please contact Chanit List at chanit_list@needham.k12.ma.us.
