BOOK PALS DRIVE

Time for some spring cleaning... of your book shelves, that is! From Monday, April 28th to Wednesday, May 7th, we are collecting new and gently used books for our annual Book Pals Drive.

Over the past several years, Broadmeadow families have donated thousands of books through the Book Pals Drive, and our partnership with Brownies for Books—a Needham High School organization that collects and distributes books to hospitals and shelters in the Greater Boston Area—ensures that your donations make a difference. Preschool through adult-level books are welcome!

For your convenience, there will be bins to drop-off books in two locations:

PLUS, we will be having our annual Book Swap! If students donate at least one book to the drive, they can come to the Performance Center on Thursday, May 8th after school between 2:45pm to 3:45pm or during the art show from 6:00pm - 7:00pm to select a book of their own. The remaining donated books will be delivered to Brownies for Books.

To prepare for the Book Swap, we need help! If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up here.

Join students throughout Massachusetts on Wednesday, May 7th for the last Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day of the 2024-2025 school year! Start your child's day off with some fresh air, a little exercise, and a sense of community. It's a great chance to arrive at school refreshed and alert.

All students can receive a sticker and sign a poster at the main entrance (front door), K-1 breezeway, or back entrance (2nd grade door).

We could use some extra hands to help hand out stickers. If you can assist or have questions, please contact Tim Bulger at wellness@broadmeadowptc.org.
