DONATE TO THE END-OF-YEAR STAFF GIFT FUND

The End-of-Year Broadmeadow Staff Gift Fund is the perfect way to show appreciation to our Broadmeadow teachers and staff who do so much for the students and families in our community!

As a service to parents, the PTC pools all donations to the Staff Gift Fund and will distribute Amazon gift cards and handwritten thank you notes to all Broadmeadow teachers and staff. Since class gifts must remain anonymous per state law*, individual family names or amounts will not be listed on the thank you notes.

We are collecting donations online via the Broadmeadow PTC Donorbox page. Participation is easy and appreciated and your contribution is tax deductible! This is the most convenient way to acknowledge our teachers and staff and it is the preferred alternative to purchasing and distributing individual gifts. Here’s how to participate:

  • Click on this link to the Broadmeadow PTC Donorbox page.

  • Determine your donation amount and enter payment information.

  • Please note: The PTC is charged a small processing fee when we use PayPal. To ensure your full gift amount goes to the staff, you can cover the processing fee as part of your donation.

SUMMER GARDEN VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The kindergarten and first grade classes have planted flower and vegetable seeds in Seed City and we need your help to maintain the garden over the summer. In the fall, the same students will harvest the garden and send the veggies to the cafeteria for the whole school to enjoy!

Please consider signing up for a week or more. During your week you will need to stop by 1-3 times to water the garden, pull weeds, and even harvest vegetables if they are ready! If this is your first year volunteering, we can set up a time to show you around the space and answer any questions.

Click here to sign up for your week! Questions? Contact Abigail, Rebecca, and Seth at gardens@broadmeadowptc.org.

DONATE GIFT CARDS TO HELP BROADMEADOW FAMILIES

One way that Broadmeadow School has worked to support families is by providing gift cards to families in need. As the winter months approach, this need tends to grow. Recently these gift cards have been used to purchase urgent items such as food and clothing. Many families have asked how they can continue to support our community and donations of gift cards to local supermarkets or stores that provide helpful items such as Target would be greatly appreciated. These gift cards are made available to families via our administration staff and guidance team, and can be sent in with your student.

IN-PERSON VOLUNTEERING DURING MEDIA

Media Center volunteers are being welcomed back to Broadmeadow! Click here for more information about the exciting opportunity to volunteer in person during the school day, including volunteer requirements, schedule and links to sign up for time slots.

BROADMEADOW LOST & FOUND PADLET

The Lost and Found Padlet displays photos of lost items that have been collected in the building. New photos will appear at the top of the Padlet as items are found.

Click on the link above to take a look and see if you recognize any of the items as belonging to your child. If you do recognize an item, please click on 'add comment" and provide your child's name and teacher, and the staff will happily deliver the item to your child's classroom the next time they are in the building. You may also go to the school and pick items up directly. Just enter your name in the 'add comment' section along with your intention to stop by. Ring the bell when you arrive and a staff member will walk the item out to you.
