BROADMEADOW'S SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN

We need your help! The Broadmeadow School Council is engaged in a process to write a new School Improvement Plan. In order to write a plan that meets the needs of our school community, we need to hear from you.

Please take 5 minutes to complete the survey linked HERE by November 13th. After you have submitted your survey, reach out to a few other members of the community and remind them to do the same.

VOLUNTEER FOR THE MEDIA CENTER

Are you wondering where this year's Media Volunteer Sign-up link is? Join Librarian Jenn Potter for a Media Volunteer Training on Friday, November 8th at 8:05am, and you'll receive access to the Broadmeadow Media Volunteers SignUpGenius link!

This year, we have updated the training requirements and expectations for all Media Center volunteers! Our goal is to ensure that each volunteer understands the expectations and feels comfortable helping to maintain the beauty of our school's Media Center. With that in mind, in order to volunteer, you must complete a 20-40 minute training that will be led by librarian Jenn Potter. You can sign up for the training here. If you aren't able to attend a scheduled training, please reach out to Samantha Pace at media@broadmeadowptc.org to arrange a different time.

BROADMEADOW'S FIRST GIVE-BACK EVENT

As we reflect on this year and all we are thankful for, we invite all Broadmeadow families to save the date and join us for a Give Back event on Saturday, November 16th from 9am to 11am.

Partnering with the Needham Community Council, we will be collecting non-perishable food items—cereal, canned goods, condiments, and more—to be distributed to those in need. Please drop off your donations outside the Broadmeadow cafeteria on Saturday, November 16th from 9am to 11am and contribute if you can!

We are also looking for families to volunteer to help unload items from cars and and/or provide boxes for transporting the donations. Please sign up here to help out!

Questions? Connect with our Outreach Coordinators, Lauren Leonard and Thérèse Provenzano, by emailing outreach@broadmeadowptc.org.
