The Kindergarten and 1st grade classes are planting flower and vegetable seeds in Seed City next week, and in the fall the same students will harvest the garden and send the veggies to the cafeteria for the whole school to enjoy!

To make this possible, we need your help maintaining the garden over the summer. Please consider signing up for a week (or more!). During your week, you will need to stop by 1-3 times to water the garden, pull weeds, and even harvest vegetables if they are ready. If this is your first year volunteering, we can set up a time to show you around the space and answer any questions.

Contact Mia Biddick and Rebecca Shaw at with questions.

The PTC works with School Tool Box to make buying next year's back-to-school supplies fast and easy. Parents can order pre-packaged school supplies for their rising K-5th graders online at the School Tool Box site (select Broadmeadow Elementary in Needham, MA). All school supply kits will be shipped directly to your home and children will bring them into class at the beginning of the school year.

For more information and to see the supply lists for each grade, please follow the links below. Remember to order for your child's grade next year!
