BOOK FAIR
Broadmeadow’s Annual Book Fair raises money for the Media Center while providing you with the chance to purchase wonderful books for your children!
The Book Fair will be open:
Thursday, 12/5 8:20AM to 11:00AM
Thursday, 12/5 1:45PM - 3:30PM
Friday, 12/6 8:20AM - 12:00PM
Children can shop the Book Fair in three ways:
Parents/guardians are welcome to come shop with their child during their class's scheduled media time. Check out the schedule here to see when your child's class will visit the Book Fair.
Students (with the exception of Kindergarteners) may bring book money (dollar bills only) to school. We will round up sales to the nearest dollar, as we do not give change.
Students may fill out a wish list during their class's visit to the Book Fair and parents can purchase the books during public shopping hours (before/after school and during Pasta Dinner/Trivia Night).
Please consider volunteering for the Book Fair. It is fun and easy! To volunteer, click on this SignUp Genius link.
If you have any questions about the Book Fair please email: bookfair@broadmeadowptc.org

WINTER GEAR DRIVE
The PTC is once again very excited to partner with Circle of Hope for our annual Winter Gear Drive now through Friday, December 13th. Circle of Hope is a Needham-based nonprofit that provides clothing and other essentials to people experiencing homelessness throughout Greater Boston.
Due to the numerous restrictions for donating used items, we are once again collecting only new items. Items for babies, children, and adults are needed! The most requested winter items include NEW coats, boots, accessories (hats, mittens, scarves), and hooded sweatshirts/sweatpants. A great way to get your children involved is to have them help select items for kids their own size!
Please drop off items at your convenience using the donation bins outside of Broadmeadow's front entrance and at the entrance by the car line.
For questions or more information, please contact Thérèse Provenzano and Lauren Leonard at outreach@broadmeadowptc.org.

LOST AND FOUND ITEMS
Items from the Lost and Found are on display in the main lobby for easy viewing. Please encourage your child to take a look, or feel free to stop by yourself to reclaim any missing items.
All unclaimed belongings will be donated after Friday, December 6th, so now is the time to check!

GIFT CARD DONATIONS NEEDED
One way that Broadmeadow has worked to support our community is by providing gift cards to Broadmeadow families in need. If you are able to donate gift cards to stores like Shaw’s, Stop & Shop, Amazon, or Target, it would be greatly appreciated. Please note that we are unable to accept gift cards to Volante Farms, Whole Foods, or Wegmans.
Each year, these gift cards are made available to families via our administrative staff and guidance team in response to requests for support with food and day-to-day expenses. As the winter months approach, the need within our community tends to grow. Gift cards can be sent in with your student in an envelope labeled "gift cards" or dropped off at the front office. Thank you for your continued support!
