SUMMER GARDEN VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The Kindergarten and 1st grade classes are planting flower and vegetable seeds in Seed City this week, and in the fall the same students will harvest the garden and send the veggies to the cafeteria for the whole school to enjoy! We need your help maintaining the garden over the summer to make this possible. Please consider signing up for a week (or more!). During your week, you will need to stop by 1-3 times to water the garden, pull weeds, and even harvest vegetables if they are ready! If this is your first year volunteering, we can set up a time to show you around the space and answer any questions.

Please contact Abigail Hays, Seth Hitchings, and Rebecca Shaw at gardens@broadmeadowptc.org with questions.

END-OF-YEAR BROADMEADOW STAFF FUND - DEADLINE JUNE 2ND

Donating to the Gift Fund is a wonderful and convenient way to acknowledge the specialist teachers who stretch students’ minds and bodies, the student support staff that play a vital role in our children’s learning and achievement, the dedicated administrative staff who keep Broadmeadow running smoothly, as well as the classroom teachers who give their all throughout the year.

As a service to parents, the PTC pools all donations to the Staff Gift Fund and will distribute Amazon gift cards and handwritten thank you notes to all Broadmeadow teachers and staff. Since class gifts must remain anonymous per state law*, individual family names or amounts will not be listed on the thank you notes.

We are collecting donations online via the Broadmeadow PTC Donorbox page. Participation is easy and appreciated and your contribution is tax deductible!  This is the most convenient way to acknowledge our teachers and staff and it is the preferred alternative to purchasing and distributing individual gifts. Here’s how to participate:

If you have any questions, please contact Abigail Hays at giftfund@broadmeadowptc.org.

MEDIA CENTER NEEDS VOLUNTEERS

Working in the Broadmeadow Media Center is a great way to see your child during the day AND make a big difference in our school! No experience is necessary; new volunteers will shadow an experienced volunteer before working on their own.

Sign up for volunteer slots here. Use the tabs at the top of the page to find the day your child's class goes to Media.

If you have questions, please contact Kristine Roy at media@broadmeadowptc.org
