Poetry, Drama, & Prose Task

Competency: I will create a piece of written work that accurately demonstrates knowledge of the elements of poetry, drama, and/or prose.

Task:

1. Student will select a genre - poetry, drama, or prose.

2. Student will use the theme of "community" and "teamwork".

3. Student will develop a final piece of written work centered around community, demonstrating the knowledge of the structure of their selected genre within a partnership/group setting.

4. Student will independently identify elements of the selected genre.
