Plan a Vacation Task

Competency: I will independently be able to generalize place value understanding for multi-digit whole numbers and use place value understanding and properties of operations to perform multi-digit arithmetic.

Task:

1. Students will decide upon a vacation destination and research facts about their destination.

2. Students will research travel costs, given specific requirements (budget, required items, trip length, etc.)

3. Students will create an advertisement for their vacation (travel brochure, commercial, poster, etc.) that includes the costs for their chosen trip.
