Our Changing Earth: Informational Text Task

Competency: I will independently identify key ideas and details in a variety of nonfiction texts, including: historical, scientific, and technical texts.

Task:

1. Student will choose one of the four topics from "Our Changing Earth" (fossils, rock cycle, erosion, weathering) they are interested in to write an informational piece.

3. Student will read & research about their topic.

4. Student will develop an informational piece (either a slideshow or a book) about their topic, including key ideas & details from the various texts read.
