Geometry Town Task

Competency: I will independently draw and identify lines and angles, and classify shapes, both 2D and 3D, by properties of their lines and angles.

Task:

1. Students will research the various elements of basic geometry, as well as town/city maps.

2. Students will work in partners to create their own town map, including specific requirements given.

3. Students will independently identify specific geometric elements, using their map as a reference.
