Table Tennis

Singles/Doubles - game is 11 points or win by 2.

Match - any combination of best odd numbers. example best 2 out of 3, 4 out of 5 etc.

Serve - the serve must leave the palm of your hand and be thrown upward at least 6 inches with no spin before hitting.

Serve - each player serves 2 in a row from the right side to the right side. In doubles, the servers alternate after 2 serves on the right side.

Inbounds - any ball that hits the top surface of the table.

Freehand - hand that is not holding the paddle. Not allowed to be on the table surface at anytime during play.

Let - ball hits the net on serve and goes over. This ball will be reserved.

Double play. Team mates must alternate hitting the ball in play.
