Google Classroom Assignments

Post a Google Doc as an Assignment and Make a Copy for Each Student

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Go to the Google Classroom home page (classroom.google.com)

  2. Select the Classwork tab

  3. Click the Create button

  4. Select Assignment

  5. From here you can add files from Google Drive or your can use the Create button to make a new file for attachment.

  6. Choose whether you would like to give each student a copy of the attachment, which will put the assignment into the student's Classroom folder.

OR

Choose whether you would like students to be able to edit the same document together.

OR

Choose whether the students are only allowed to view the document.

  1. Fill in the information and due date.

  2. Select Post, Save as a draft, or Schedule the assignment to be posted at a later date
