More details to come from Badminton Gone Viral about this years elementary state championship. All elementary schools are invited to bring a team for competition.
The elementary division typically is a doubles tournament, which teams form partners that can be 2 girls, 2 boys, or mixed. A doubles championship, team championship ,and individual awards are generally given.
What to expect-
Learn all rules for competing in badminton
Practice basic skills
For those participating in state, the athletes will be assigned a partner with similar abilities if they don’t have a partner.
What to bring-
Gym shoes and clothing for movement
5 min snack/water- optional
Students will borrow racquet, safety glasses and a team jersey for the tournament
