Swank K-12 Streaming
Swank K-12 Streaming is an excellent source of feature films and documentaries. There are 200+ films already included in our subscription and more can be added upon request, as funds permit.
Movies can be shown in class or assigned for students to watch at home.
Use the links to the left or the slides/doc below to get started!
Other Sources for Streaming Video
Kanopy is excellent for independent films, documentaries, educational television, and more.
Kanopy is available through Robbins Library (for Arlington residents only) and the Boston Public Library (everyone who lives or works in Massachusetts is eligible). Users receive a limited number of "play credits" per month.
The AHS Library has a small number of institutional accounts we can loan staff to use in order to show Kanopy videos in class. Let us know if you're interested!
Movie Nights
Wondering whether you can show a movie for extracurricular purposes? Our public performance license with Swank (separate from the streaming platform) covers any movie you can search for here. If you don't find your film, let us know so we can help double check.
