Get a Public Library Card

Robbins Library

You can register for a public library card online or bring identification with your name and address into Robbins or Fox to get a physical library card. The library will accept a copy of your school schedule as identification.

See Get a Library Card to register or for details.

Boston Public Library

In less than three minutes, you can create a Boston Public Library eCard, your ticket to their great research databases including JSTOR, as well as e-books, audiobooks, and even movies.

Best of all, you can do it all from this very computer!

  • Go to the Boston Public Library eCard Registration form.

  • If the window doesn't open, make sure your pop-ups are not blocked.

  • Complete the form and accept the terms.

  • You will receive your BPL eCard account information by email; record your library card number and PIN in a safe location.

That's all there is to it.

  • For research databases by subject or name, go to Electronic Resources: A-Z.

  • You can get JSTOR access through the Boston Public Library!

  • For downloadable e-books and audiobooks, use Overdrive.

  • For more e-books, graphic novels, and videos, check out Hoopla, which uses an always-in model (no waiting!).

See Ms. Kitsis if you need help getting started with any of these services.
