Borrow Technology

The library offers a variety of technology for short-term and long-term loans. 

These items may be available for staff to borrow on a short-term OR long-term/annual basis, pending availability. Staff may also use our Classroom Technology Requests form for long-term/annual loan requests. 

• Portable and computer speakers

• Personal voice amplifier (wired and wireless models are available) 

• Older model Chromebook for classroom loaners 

• Older model teacher iPad and accessories (e.g., stylus, document camera stands)

• ELMO and IPEVO document cameras

• DVD drives and players

• Power strips and AV carts 

In addition to everything above, these items are also available for staff to borrow on short-term basis: 

• Projectors

• Macbook (one-day loaner) 

• Newer model Chromebooks

• Newer model iPads 

• Slide clickers

• Apple TV

• USB flash drives

• VOIP phone

• Headset microphone

• Tower speakers

• Microphones, including wireless microphones for the Student Center

• Video production accessories including tripods, snowball microphones, green-screens, and more

Both staff and students may borrow the following. These items usually circulate for one or two hours at a time for students and one day at a time for staff: 

• Laptop and portable phone chargers 

• Chromebooks (emergency one-hour loans) 

• Headphones 

• Graphing calculators 

• Adapters 

Students may also borrow other equipment as needed for specific assignments, e.g., an iPad for video recording. 

The Scantron machine, laminator, and other production tools are now housed in the Smart Lab located on the upper mezzanine level of the AHS Library.
