What is SLAC?
Love the library? Help us make it better!
The Student Library Advisory Committee is also known fondly as SLAC. Our work includes promoting a culture of reading in the AHS community; maintaining and enriching the library through advising, programming, service, and fundraising; and creating opportunities for students to learn about the information professions.
Past activities have included an annual spring cleaning service day, Adopt a Book and Buttons for Books library fundraisers, a poetry open mic for National Poetry Month, a variety of guest speakers, pop up book reviews, and creating the WHAT I'M READING posters for AHS faculty which you can see all over the building.
Come SLAC off in the library!
