TEXTBOOK CHECKOUT
IMPORTANT: Chrome does not always work well with Destiny. If you have problems, use Firefox or Internet Explorer
1. Go to the PCSH website
2. Select the Staff menu, then select Learning Commons from the drop-down menu.
4. In the library catalog, click Login in the upper right-hand corner, and login using your network
username and password (NOTE: If your login credentials don’t work, try username
PCSHTEACHER and password TEACH)
5. Use the drop-down view menu near the top right corner to select RESOURCE VIEW
6. Click on the Circulation tab – Destiny will default to the checkout module
7. Make sure the cursor is in the box
8. Scan in this order (VERY important):
a. student ID number (this number can also be manually keyed in, followed by the "Enter" key)
b. barcode on book (this number can also be manually keyed in, followed by the "Enter" key)
c. Reset Barcode (bottom of this page)
9. …and repeat for each student
TEXTBOOK CHECK-IN
1. Follow steps 1-6
2. Click on "Check in Textbook"
3. Scan the barcode on the book.
4. Reset Barcode (bottom of this page)
To Change the Due Date:
1. Follow steps 1-8b (don’t reset yet) for the first student in line
2. Click on the calendar/change icon by the default due date
3. Check the box by Selected Date
4. Enter your preferred due date (you can type it in – don’t need to scan the calendar)
5. Select Until Logout and click Save
6. Continue checking out books as usual
