Accessing eBooks through Public Library

First Time User will need to download a piece of software

#1 Click on eBooks in the eBooks and More section on left column

eBook Searching

There are two ways to search for an eBook once your software has been loaded.

A. Search by exact title and look for format choices

B. Search by eBooks on home page and browse through titles

The following directions will walk you through the process for Option #2 completely. You may reference these for the last few steps of Option #1 if needed.

#1 Click on eBooks in the eBooks and More section on left column

#2 Click on eBooks for Kids

#3 This page opens with eBook Chapter books, but there are also some Picture eBooks and Audiobook downloads. As an example, I selected Peace, Love and Cupcakes and clicked on the title in blue text.

#4 Read matches to find the exact title and eBook format. Click Connect.

#5 There are four copies of this book, but none are currently available. There are 21 patrons that have reserved this title. You could also place a hold for this title and get it when it is your turn.

#6 To place a hold you will need your public library card’s 14- digit number.

#7 You will be notified by your chosen option, either phone or email when the book is available. Choose the Download and select your device.
