When we prepare projects for freelancers using MemoQ, we can do it in two different ways: by creating a local project (handoff) or a project in the server (online project).
The most common method used is a local project. We use this when only one translator is attached to the project who is responsible for translating and exporting the project. When you are involved in bigger projects, you will be working on a project in the server (in other words, online).
The way in which you work with MemoQ (the translation component) is the same in both cases. However, when we provide you with a project, you will need to follow different steps depending on if you receive a handoff or an online project notification.
